All over the world strangers talk only about the weather

Post memorial day entry. The weekend went fast. I went to a couple of get togethers. Mostly the same people at two different houses for two different reasons. I am in a good mood. Coming down of the recent intensity for work and the economy. Ya know, its hard to relax when you are trying to defend your small plot on the planet.

Makes me think. Maybe too much. I am watching the news and am glad that things don't seem so bad tonight. I finally have a goal beyond working for someone else. It really isn't easy to get a focused thought and basis for it that can actually stand a good chance of not getting dull and being successful. I am not going to blab and say what I am going to do exactly but I will let it be known when I do it.

I have been writing consistantly lately. It started with just dealing with making everything comprehensive but thankfully expanded beyond that to a steady inspired flow of relevant topics and discussion initiations. I am actually into it and like have such a rich resource of which to draw from like IT the software industry has more drama than any other I have found.

I am increasingly interested in the benefits of the open source movement. I am really pushing the boss to get with it in terms of weaving software resources together considering that most of it is pretty functional and will work on any popular server. I think its great that APPLE is smart to participate in open source.

I met this interesting girl at the weekend festivities. It was pretty exciting actually she has a grandious personality and she is very clever. Not someone you could just strike up a conversation with but other than that she makes a lasting impression.

I haven't been to any movies or read any none work related reading materials. From the look of things I am not missing much movie wise.
