Relationships

If it is true that are worst decisions are our best stories but our healthiest relationships are the most boring, then why is it when we finally find someone that we can be bored with, who likes us for our most boring parts, do we get restless or defensive?

It's my guess that each person has to judge for themselves just how interesting they want to be and just how boring they can handle being.

I am somewhere between curling up with a controversial magazine issue, book, or film and wanting a house with two small rambunctious dogs while caring for an adopted child with special needs. In short I want to always be interesting enough to raise an eyebrow but not a voice and boring only to the point that the smallest accomplishments are the most praised and regarded.
